Sponsor-A-Child

All proceeds from the Zig Ziglar Servant Leadership Award directly benefit Sponsor-A-Child, the scholarship program at Prestonwood Christian Academy. This program provides PCA families with need-based assistance toward tuition costs.

By donating to the Zig Ziglar Servant Leadership Award, you are allowing another student the opportunity to experience a Kingdom Education, which focuses on bringing the home, church and school into a partnership for the purpose of training the next generation.

Through the leadership of Prestonwood Baptist Church Pastor jack Graham and Prestonwood Christian Academy Head of School Larry Taylor, the school's fifteen hundred plus students and faculty bring to life this philosophy of life-long, Bible-based education. Teachers guide each student toward-not just graduation-but Christian maturity.

During their time at PCA, students learns to connect knowledge to a biblical worldview frame of reference. Statistics show that 80 to 90 percent of 18 to 24-year-olds walk away from the church. In addition, an increasing number of evangelicals lack a biblical worldview.

Prestonwood Christian Academy's purpose is to prepare students to enter the world with confidence-no only knowing what they believe, but believing with a depth of conviction. This is why Prestonwood christian Academy is leading the way in producing a generation of "daniels'" who infiltrate the marketplace with competency and character.

To accomplish this, Kingdom Education is fused with innovateive programs for both students and paretns. Yet despite the benefist of Kingdom Education, a hard barrier exists for many families-the cost.

This past year, 20 percent of our student population received financial aid based upon need as evaluated by a third-party application process. This amounts to nearly one million dollars of grants each year to families who would not be able to afford Kingdom Education otherwise. The average amount granted to each family was approximately $4,000 with 240 students receiving financial aid and the need is much greater.

To overcome this varrier, funding is needed to provide an equal opportunity for all qualified families-regardless of their financial state. This is why our goal at PCA is to annually raise over one millions dollars for scholarships. Through Sponsor-A-Child you can be part of the solution.
